Outdoor Weddings & Events
No Walls? No Problem.
An open dirt lot, backyard or outdoor venue doesn’t have to limit
the design. Our freestanding F34 truss can be used indoors or outdoors
to help create structure in spaces where there may be no walls,
ceilings or existing architecture to work with.
For outdoor weddings and events, truss gives us another way to
transform an open space into a
high-end event setting.
Combine it with our bistro string lighting,
dance floors, chandeliers, staging, drapery and décor to build an
incredible setup from what may have started as nothing more than
an empty lot.
Pairing custom truss with our
bistro string lighting
takes that transformation even further, adding warm overhead lighting
and architectural structure to spaces that started with neither.
From an open dirt lot to a complete outdoor wedding environment,
Events Horizon can design the elements to work together as one
cohesive setup.

Frequently Asked Questions
Event Truss Rental FAQ
How much does event truss rental cost in Phoenix?
Events Horizon Rentals offers individual F34 truss starting at
$8.50 per foot, with an 11-foot truss section renting for less
than $100. Complete structures vary depending on size, connections,
bases, installation requirements and overall event design.
What is F34 truss?
F34 is a four-chord aluminum box truss commonly used for professional
event production, lighting, displays and décor. Events Horizon uses
commercial-grade F34 truss from Global Truss and CedarsLink.
What is a goal post truss or truss arch?
A goal post truss uses two vertical truss columns with a horizontal
span across the top. These structures are commonly used for
chandeliers, wedding backdrops, floral installations, banners,
lighting and event entrances.
Can truss be used to hang chandeliers at a wedding?
Yes. Chandelier structures are one of the ways Events Horizon
incorporates F34 truss into wedding and event designs. The exact
configuration depends on the chandelier, structure, installation
location and overall design.
Can truss go around a dance floor?
Yes. Freestanding truss structures can be designed around dance
floors for chandeliers, ceiling treatments, event lighting and
décor. Events Horizon can combine the truss structure with our
dance floor, lighting and other rentals as one coordinated installation.
Can you cover truss so the aluminum isn’t visible?
Yes. Fitted spandex truss covers are available to create a cleaner
finished appearance. Black and white are popular choices, and
additional colors can be sourced for custom event designs.
Can event truss be used outdoors?
Yes, depending on the installation and site conditions. Outdoor
configurations are planned around the location, intended use,
weather exposure and appropriate stabilization requirements.
Can Events Horizon build an event setup on an open dirt lot?
Yes. Open lots and outdoor spaces can be transformed using a
combination of freestanding truss, bistro string lighting, dance
floors, staging, chandeliers, drapery, lighting and décor. This
allows us to create a complete event setting even when the space
begins without walls, ceilings or existing event infrastructure.
Can truss be used for stage and event lighting?
Yes. F34 truss can be configured for stage lighting, moving-head
fixtures, presentations and other event-production applications.
Can F34 truss be used for trade shows and conferences?
Yes. Modular F34 truss can be configured for trade show booths,
banners, branded displays, TVs, conference installations and
other temporary event structures.
Can TVs and displays be mounted to event truss?
Yes. Compatible mounting hardware can be used for TVs and displays
depending on the truss configuration and equipment being installed.
Do you provide truss for houses of worship?
Yes. F34 truss can be used for temporary event production, lighting,
displays, stages and special-event installations at churches and
houses of worship.
Does Events Horizon deliver and install event truss?
Yes. Events Horizon offers professional delivery, installation
and breakdown of our event truss throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.
